Solo Travel: Bratislava, SLovakia

Bratislava is a 50 minute bus ride away from Vienna. Tickets cost €8 and I took Slovak Lines bus going there.

Fun fact: There used to be a flight going there from Vienna Airport but they removed it because the whole flight is only 6 minutes long so it makes no sense to be at an airport for hours only to take a 6 minute long flight. I’m really glad I made Bratislava as my first stop for my solo travel because it was such a safe city to be in and the people were super nice. It made me feel I’m off to a great start.

Free walking tours in Bratislava can be found in this part of the market square. Usually, free walking tours are held everyday for 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

You can easily visit the tourist spots by walking and some of them are thankfully near one another too.

Food I ate:

There is another site I didn’t got the chance to visit but I don’t worry much about it because when I finally settle in Vienna, I know I will be back in this place. I made a vlog about my trip and you can view it here.
