Solo Travel: Budapest, Hungary

Public transportation in Budapest is pretty easy to follow and is really accessible. I especially loved the look of these stations. Don’t forget to buy your ticket because there are security checking at every stop you either get in/get off.

Budapest Parliament did not disappoint. It looks absolutely stunning!!!

Fisherman’s Bastion. This is where fishermen lived during the medieval times.

The Hungarian Parliament taken from the Fisherman’s Bastion.

Matthias Church day and night.

Statues taken WITHin the Buda Castle.

Celebrated my birthday in the morning by going to SZéchenyi Thermal Baths. Spent 3 hours lounging in the pool and I loved every minute of it.

And then visited St. Stephen’s Basilica in the afternoon. Really Thankful and grateful for everything that I have, and everything that is happening to me.

And then went up the tower to have a better look at how beautiful this new favorite city of mine.

New favority city. Yes, I think I just called Budapest that. Let me tell you something about it. When I decided to visit 4 countries on my solo travel, going to Budapest is what gave me irrational anxiety. I don’t know. I feel like it is such a big city, and I thought I’d be lost and scared most of the time. But it actually surprised me. While I was there, I did not feel scared at all. Of course I was cautious of everything I did, but I was also having a damn good time, albeit alone. Needless to say, I ended up being the city I loved the most. I cannot wait to go back here with my mom and brother next time. <3 View my vlog here.
